Broken Hearts Sewn Together

Hearts cracked and shattered like glass
Robbed of time shouldn’t yet pass
Trying to find peace in each others drumbeat
Bleeding as their jagged edges meet

Together they sewed the ties that bind
Their drumbeat now forever intertwined
Broken hearts sewn together
Better now than they were now and forever.
